BROWN BUTTER & CINNAMON RICE CRISPY TREATS
Tomorrow is the first Harvest Literature Festival for our new school. John Adams Academy is a charter school, this is it's inaugural year, and it focuses on a classical education, service, leadership and patriotism. We love it and are so happy with what they are providing. I'm helping with this harvest event and I signed up to contribute to the bake sale. Needless to say, I will not have time tomorrow to make cupcakes or anything fancy. I decided while roaming Target, I would just make rice crispy treats, then it dawned on me that I could add some cinnamon...
GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES WITH CINNAMON BARK ICING
Today I am sharing one of my favorite cookie recipes. The base of this cookie was shared with me a few years ago by my friend Lenore. These cookies are exactly what I was looking for in a ginger molasses cookie; chewy texture with crispy edges, not too spicy and lots of cinnamon. I added the Icing Glaze because its festive and who doesn't need more sugar and cinnamon this time of year? A few months ago, I started implementing essential oils more into our home...

The snap leash on my bibs and blankets make my products a go to travel essential when heading out with littles. On the plane ride my boys had their blankets and their favorite toy attached so I didn't need to worry about them dropping it on the floor or worse losing it on the plane. I have 4 boys and I traveled with them alone. I was a bit nervous but in the end it was great, they all had...
HSN: I Went, I Pitched, I Succeeded?
I'd love to say that I went, I pitched and I succeeded, but then this would be a fairytale and I'm keeping my experience at HSN (Home Shopping Network) as transparent and as real as possible. Three months ago I was at a "Favorite Things Party", this is where woman get together, bring three of their favorite things and then exchange them. As a participant you leave the evening with hopefully three new very special items. While at this party I over heard a woman talking about HSN and that her husband had been on the previous day. Being the hustler I...
